Reflect and Share Questions
are intended primarily to evoke dialogue about the readers' own experiences, and about their findings from researching the Scripture passages listed throughout the Study Guide. The following thoughts are provided strictly as an aid to facilitate further group discussion.

- One example from my life was that for many years I was hesitant to write because, as Ecclesiastes says, "Of making many books there is no end." Doesn't the world have enough books? And, shouldn't Christians be primarily focused on reading the Bible? But with time, I was able to overcome these doubts and see the value of admonishing and encouraging the Church (2 Timothy 4:2; 1 Peter 3:15; Romans 15:14) through the power of the written word.
- Peter asked Jesus to personally call him. The voice of Jesus gives us courage to move ahead, even in the face of doubt. If you feel God may want you to do a particular thing, try this prayer: "God, if this is indeed of You, then let me sense Your voice calling me to it."
- God often wants us to start out in faith, with what we have, and He will meet us with the rest of the instructions or provision that we're lacking to complete the task. (Judges 6:14-16; 1 Kings 17:7-16)
